At the end of the day, of all our “possessions,” it is our memories that we treasure the most and place the highest value on and pictures play a big part in that.
Studio photography is usually the first thought when thinking about having your child photographed - but children are very rarely sparkling clean, dressed in their best clothes and sitting quietly in front of a white screen.
Our fondest memories can be when they are playing dress up; wrestling with their brothers or sisters; elbows deep in mud in the flowerbed; the way they laugh or the concentration when they read their favourite book.
That is why my photography sessions take place either in your home or out on location - such as a local park or woodland - and are relaxed and fun.
Being a parent myself I am experienced in attracting children's attention and keeping them engaged and entertained throughout the shoot.

In the industry, photoshoots are generally priced very low - sometimes at a loss for the photographer - in order to entice you in.
The real profits for a photographer are from 'hard' selling you expensive prints and digital files once you have seen the photographs and fallen in love with them.
I've even seen business guides that say printing the best images and then tearing a rejected photo up in front of the horrified customer is a great way to pressure them into purchasing the rest to save them from the same fate!
I do not work that way.
Each standard photoshoot includes physical and digital prints which you select from your online gallery without any of the pressure to pay anything more.
My family photography packages also solve the usual problems such as the ability to travel to a studio (or not wanting 'studio' photographs at all), rigid timeslots and very limited editing. I travel to you and if a timeslot runs over a little due to children being distracted, hungry or tired that isn't a problem.
